Inventory Cycle Count Using DreamzCMMS Mobile App

Performing an Inventory Cycle Count in DreamzCMMS is a seamless process that allows you to:

• Add, update, and verify inventory counts directly from the mobile app.

• Synchronize the data with the web portal for further analysis.

• Generate detailed reports for accurate inventory management.

This streamlined process ensures accurate stock management, minimizes errors, and improves overall inventory control.

Step 1: Access the Inventory Cycle Count Feature

• Open the DreamzCMMS Mobile App.

• Tap on the "More" section in the navigation menu.

• Select "Inventory Cycle Count" to open the cycle count list.

Step 2: Create a New Inventory Cycle Count

• Tap on the "Add" button to initiate a new cycle count.

• Select the Location: Choose the location where the inventory items are stored.

• Select a Category: (Optional) You can choose a category to filter items.

• Add Remarks: (Optional) Include any remarks or comments if necessary.

• Tap on "Continue" to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Add Items to the Cycle Count

• You will be presented with two options to add items:

  • "Scan" – Scan barcodes or QR codes to quickly add items.

  • "Search" – Manually search and select items from the list.

• Select either option based on your preference to add items.

• Manual Entry Option: If needed, use the "Manual Entry" feature to input item details manually.

Step 4: Update and Adjust Item Quantities

• Once the items are listed, adjust the stock quantity for each item by manually entering the correct count.

• If you need to add more items, repeat the steps by selecting "Scan" or "Manual Entry."

Step 5: Process the Cycle Count

• After verifying and updating the item quantities, tap on the "Process" button.

• This action will automatically create a new inventory cycle count record.

Step 6: Verify the Cycle Count on the Web Portal

• Open the DreamzCMMS Web Portal and go to the "Inventory Cycle Count" section under the "Supplies" menu.

• The newly created cycle count will appear in the list, reflecting the updates made using the mobile app.

Step 7: View or Download the Cycle Count Report

• View Details: Click on "View" to see detailed information about the cycle count on the web portal.

• Download Report: Click on "Download" to generate an Excel report containing:

  • List of items and descriptions

  • Line numbers and item prices

  • Units and counted quantities

  • Location, total price, and date of the count

Step 8: Review and Finalize

• Open the downloaded Excel file to review all the details of the inventory cycle count.

• The report can be used for audit purposes, compliance checks, and inventory reconciliation.
