With this app, technicians, supervisors, and managers can access work orders, assets, parts, checklists, and approvals on the go — improving response times, productivity, and real-time visibility of maintenance operations.


Overview

The DreamzCMMS Mobile App is designed for maintenance teams that work outside of the office. It lets users interact with core CMMS features using a smartphone or tablet, streamlining task execution, data capture, and communication — all without returning to a desktop.

Key capabilities include:

  • Viewing and updating work orders

  • Scanning QR codes/Barcodes for assets

  • Recording meter readings and task progress

  • Managing checklists and inspections

  • Creating and closing work orders

  • Tracking parts and inventory usage

This mobile experience means data is entered once, direct from the field, eliminating duplicate entry and improving accuracy.

Before You Begin

  • Confirm that you have a DreamzCMMS user account with the necessary mobile access permissions.

  • Ensure your mobile device meets minimum OS requirements (Android or iOS).

  • Have your login credentials ready (email/username and password).

  • Optionally enable camera permissions to scan asset QR codes or barcodes.


How to Get and Use the DreamzCMMS Mobile App

Step 1 — Install the App

Search for DreamzCMMS in your device’s app store:

  • Google Play Store (Android)

  • Apple App Store (iOS)

Download and install the app.


Step 2 — Log In

Open the mobile app and enter your DreamzCMMS credentials.


Step 3 — Navigate the Main Dashboard & Menu Icons

Once logged in, you’ll see key navigation icons and dashboard options that help you access major features quickly:

Settings

Tap the Settings icon to:

  • Edit your profile information

  • Change your password

  • Update personal preferences (if applicable)


Notification Icon

The Notification icon displays alerts about:

  • Updates on work orders assigned to you

  • Updates on work orders you created

Click the icon to view and manage notifications.


Work Orders Dashboard

This section provides a quick overview of:

  • Work Orders by Status

  • Work Orders Due Today

  • Open Work Orders

  • Emergency Work Orders

Tap any category to view a filtered list of work orders specific to that selection. 


Step 4 — View & Update Work Orders

Within the Work Orders section you can:

  • View assigned work orders

  • Update status (e.g., Open, In Progress, Completed)

  • Add comments, photos, and attachments

  • Enter labor hours and task details

  • Close work orders once complete

Create NEW Button

The Create NEW button allows you to create:

  • New Work Orders

  • New Assets

  • New Requests

This provides quick access to record creation directly from the mobile interface.

Tap Request to:

  • Access all requests submitted by you

  • View request status and details

The More option provides access to additional modules such as:

  • Facilities

  • Assets

  • Requests

  • Other areas of DreamzCMMS
