Hello, and welcome to this training session.

In this video, we'll explore how to track your asset downtime effectively. 

Here is a reference video:


Start by selecting the "Analytics" option from the menu, located just below the dashboard. Then, click on "Assets," which will take you to your asset reliability dashboard.

On this dashboard, you can filter the data to suit your specific needs. It provides detailed information about your assets' downtime and availability, including total downtime hours, asset availability percentages, and the total number of downtime events recorded.

You can also view the aggregate availability percentage of your assets over different months. The dashboard presents asset downtime through blue bars representing the downtime percentage, and a dark blue line showing the total number of downtime events for each asset listed below.

Next, you'll find critical metrics like Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). 

Additionally, there's a section that displays the trends of your MTBF over time. You can filter this data based on your selected date range. For instance, I have chosen a date range from May 1st to August 14th, which shows me the MTBF trends for that period.

Following this, there's a breakdown report by department, which details total breakdown hours in minutes. For example, one division, the Steel Division, has its total breakdown time displayed. You can scroll further to see breakdown reports for various facilities, including parent, child, and sub-child locations, based on the departments set up in the system.

The dashboard also offers a monthly breakdown report, which can be filtered similarly. It provides a breakdown by location, and there's also a weekly breakdown report, showing data for parent and child locations. Furthermore, you can view department-wise breakdown reports, which display monthly breakdown data for each department and division.

Several reports help you track downtime comprehensively. The first report to look at is the KPI dashboard. To access it, click on the "Reports" option from the menu, located below the settings option. Under "Maintenance," select "KPI Dashboard." This dashboard shows key performance indicators or KPIs such as total downtime hours, MTBF, MTTR, and planned versus unplanned downtime. You can filter these graphs based on planned or unplanned work orders, and select different time ranges, such as the last three, six, nine months, or a custom date range.

Additionally, you can filter this data by facilities. For example, the graph shows the number of work orders completed between June 1st and August 31st. By adjusting the filters, the data displayed on the graph will update accordingly.

Under the "Assets" section, there are several metric reports available, including the Asset MTTR Report, Asset MTBF Report, and Asset Downtime Hits Report. The MTTR report shows data based on asset name, asset code, location, MTTR hours, and the number of reported breakdowns. You can export these reports to Excel or PDF formats.

Similarly, the MTBF report provides details on asset name, asset code, location, and MTBF hours. Like the MTTR report, this one can also be exported to Excel or PDF.

The Asset Downtime Hits Report presents the number of downtime incidents reported for each asset. This report, like the others, is exportable to Excel or PDF.

Another useful report is the Assets Downtime and Availability Report, which shows the availability and downtime percentages for various child facilities. This report can also be exported to Excel or PDF.

Finally, the Offline Asset History provides information about the offline status of your assets, including asset name, category, and specific dates and times when an asset went offline and came back online. This information is crucial for understanding your assets' downtime history and can also be exported to Excel or PDF.
