Web Add Bulk Assets

Hello, and welcome to this training session. To start with we will understand why the bulk Asset Add Feature is important.

The bulk asset add feature is crucial because it streamlines the process, reduces errors, and supports scalability in managing large quantities of assets efficiently. It ensures data consistency, saves time, and enhances overall system performance.

In this tutorial, I will demonstrate how to efficiently add bulk assets to any product within our system. To begin, click on the desired product, which will open up the product list. Navigate to the right-hand side and locate the icon specifically designed for adding bulk assets. Click on this icon, and a selection of available products will automatically populate. If necessary, specify the location, such as the demo location category. 

You'll also have the option to input the quantity of assets to be added, along with any associated costs. Additionally, custom details can be included, tailored to your needs. Once all details are entered, simply confirm your selections. This action will seamlessly integrate the bulk assets into the system.

Furthermore, you can choose to export the RFID data of these assets in an Excel format for your records. Upon export, you'll find a detailed report containing information on the newly added assets, including product names, automatically generated serial numbers, asset names, RFID codes, and descriptions. After completing the process, close the window and refresh the page to view the updated asset count. 

This provides a clear overview of the newly created assets within the designated facility. By clicking on the associated link, you'll be directed to the asset list, where all newly created assets can be easily accessed. This method of adding bulk assets remains consistent whether initiated from the standard view or the edit page. The user experience remains seamless and intuitive throughout, ensuring efficient asset management within our system.
