Bulk Serialisation

Hello, and welcome to this training session. To start with we will understand why Bulk Serialization is pivotal for businesses.

Bulk Serialization is crucial for businesses because it saves time and reduces errors when adding multiple assets to the system at once. It improves efficiency, accuracy, and scalability while enhancing traceability throughout the supply chain. Additionally, it can lead to cost savings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in industries with strict serialization standards.

First, click on the bulk serialization option from the dashboard. Here, you'll choose the location and select the desired products. You can specify quantities and fill in any custom fields like order or lot numbers. Once everything is set, click continue to scan.

Now, you'll have three scanning options: single, multi, or barcode or QR code. For this demonstration, I'll use the barcode/QR code scan. Scanning a new item will prompt it to appear in the valid assets list if it's not already in the system. If the asset exists, it'll be listed in the invalid assets section.

After scanning, you'll have two choices: reset or save. Clicking submit will add the items to the system. If needed, you can reset the details and return to the bulk serialization screen by clicking reset. And that's it!
