View and Update Assigned Jobs
Technicians can view and update their assigned jobs directly from the DreamzFSM mobile app. By tapping on any job in the calendar view, technicians can access full job details, manage assets and tasks, add services, track expenses, upload files, and mark jobs as complete — all from one place.
Overview
The DreamzFSM mobile app gives technicians everything they need to manage a job from start to finish. From viewing customer details and navigating to the site, to completing checklists, adding services, logging expenses, and marking jobs as complete — all key actions are accessible directly from the assigned job screen.

How to View and Update Assigned Jobs
Step 1 – Open a Job from the Dashboard
In the first calendar view, tap on any job to view or update its details.

Step 2 – View Job Details Under General
Under the General tab, technicians can:
- View customer details and billing address.
- Chat and call with the customer.
- Use navigation to get directions to the job site.

- View customer history.
- Add a quotation.
- Add an invoice.

- Press the “Start Working” button to initiate work and provide documented proof of when work commences.

Step 3 – Manage Assets & Tasks
Under the Assets & Tasks tab:
- Assets can be searched by name or code.
- Technicians can scan a QR code to view asset details.
- Technicians can view the Task and the corresponding checklist after starting the job.

Step 4 – Add or Remove Services
Under the Services tab:
- Technicians can add or delete services being provided.
- A QR code can be scanned to identify any service.

Step 5 – Add Custom Services
Under Custom Services, technicians can add custom services based on what is needed for the successful completion of the job.
Step 6 – View Expenses
Under Expense, technicians can view the expenses related to the job. Expenses can be added from the More menu, and the company is required to fulfil those expenses upon completion of the job.


Step 7 – View Files
Under Files, a count is shown of how many files have been added in relation to the task, giving technicians quick visibility of all attached documents and media.
Step 8 – Monitor Activities
Under Activities, the current status of the job is shown with every detail for better understanding of what has occurred throughout the job lifecycle.
Step 9 – Use Top-Bar Actions and Complete the Job
Just after tapping on a job, the following features are available at the top of the screen:
- Add work duration manually or through a time tracker.
- Change the status of the job.
- Report a problem if any issue arises.



Once a job is complete, enter your notes and click Complete Work to mark it as complete.
Tips for Viewing and Updating Assigned Jobs
- Always press Start Working when you arrive on site — this timestamps the beginning of work and provides documented proof for billing and payroll purposes.
- Use the navigation feature in the General tab to get directions directly from the app, saving time switching between different applications.
- Complete the corresponding checklist under Assets & Tasks to ensure all required steps are documented before marking the job as complete.
- Use the Report a Problem feature at the top of the job screen to flag any issues immediately so dispatchers can take action without delay.
- Always add detailed notes before clicking Complete Work to provide a clear record of the work performed for future reference and customer sign-off.

How do I open a job from the mobile app?
