In this video, we'll explore the "Quotations" option available on the customer web portal. To begin, click on the "Quotations" option from the menu or the dashboard. For this demonstration, I've clicked from the dashboard. This action takes you to the "Quotation Listing" page, where you can see a list of all the quotations you have received.
The quotation list provides details such as the quotation number, customer name, email, date of quotation, expiry date, and status. Under the "Action" column, there are buttons for viewing, accepting, and rejecting quotations. By clicking "View," you can see the full details of the quotation provided by the technician.
If the details are correct, you can accept the quotation by clicking the "Accept" icon, then clicking "OK." Optionally, you can add a message before saving, though this step can be skipped. Once accepted, the status will update, and the "Accept" and "Reject" icons will disappear from the action column, indicating that the quotation has been accepted.
After acceptance, the technician or admin will see that the customer has accepted the quotation, and they can proceed to convert the quotation into a job.
