Jobs under Customer Web Portal

Hello, and welcome to this training session.

In this video, I'll be showing you the Jobs section of the customer web portal. To access it, click on the "Jobs" option in the menu or from the dashboard. This will take you to a list of jobs created by the admin or technician.

In the action section, there are options to view job details or chat with the technician. Clicking on the "View" icon will display detailed information about the job. The "General" tab shows general details, the "Location" tab displays location details, and the "Assignee" tab shows who the assignee is and their location. Any files attached to the job will be visible, as well as previously reported problems under the "Report a Problem" tab.

Customers can monitor the job status directly from the portal. Any status changes made by the technician, such as from "Assigned" to "Work in Progress," will be updated here. Once the job is completed and closed, the status will be updated again.

After the job status is updated, the customer can leave a review by clicking on the "Review" option. They can type a review, provide a rating, and save it, which will be visible to both the technician and the admin.

Clicking on "Go to Customer Panel" will return you to the main customer panel. As job statuses change, updates will be reflected throughout the portal. For example, the dashboard will show the updated number of open and total jobs, giving customers a quick view of their job details.

Thank you for watching this training session. We hope this guide helps you efficiently use the Jobs feature in our FSM application. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our support team. Have a great day.
