Quick Jobs from the Dispatch Calendar

Hello, and welcome to this training session.

In this video, you'll learn how to add a quick job from the dispatch calendar. To access the dispatch calendar, first click on the field service navigation, then select the dispatch calendar menu.

Once in the dispatch calendar, hover over any block to reveal two buttons: "Block This Slot" and "Add Order." To create a quick job, click on the "Add Order" button, which will open the quick job creation pop-up.

In this pop-up, provide the job title, description, start date, and end date. The user details will be automatically selected based on your calendar selection.

In the customer section, if the job is for an existing customer, search using the customer’s name, email, phone number, or address. If it's for a new customer, enter the customer details manually.

For this demo, an existing customer is selected. If the selected customer has multiple addresses, a pop-up will appear where you must choose between the main address or a service address. You can also add multiple service addresses for the customer in this pop-up.

Once you select a service address, it will automatically populate in the address box, and the map will display the exact customer location, which is where the technician will perform the job.

You can add one or multiple tags in the designated section.

The customer's billing address will be automatically populated, but you have the option to update this information.

After filling in the necessary details, click "Save" to add and assign the quick job to the technician.

The new quick job will appear in the calendar, and clicking on it will show the job details in a pop-up. This is how you create a quick job and view its details in the dispatch calendar.
