DreamzCMMS software includes built-in depreciation calculators. This can save organizations time and effort, and help to ensure that depreciation is calculated accurately and shows the real time valuation on one click.
On asset creation, either from web or mobile or excel, it has the option to choose the depreciation method. Now how to set up the depreciation method in DreamzCMMS.
Click on settings from the left menu. Under asset section you will find three option regarding depreciation
If you click on the first one, it contains 4 methods listed as guidelines, the 2nd one is to create the method using the standard methods to use on asset creation. And the third one to show all created method list.
How to create the master depreciation entry?
Click on Master Depreciation Entry, it will open the method entry page to add the basic data like
i) Country : Select the country as per your depreciation rule will be defined
ii) Method type: select the method name from dropdown to follow the standard formula
iii) Main group or asset group : Choose for which of the groups you are defining the formula
iv) Apportioned: Choose any of the time interval, based on which you want the depreciation value
v) Life span: Set the life span years based on asset group
