Tasks in field sales are vital for organizing and managing specific actions needed to advance sales opportunities. They help sales teams stay on track, ensure timely follow-ups, and provide structure to the sales process, allowing reps to focus on high-priority activities. Well-managed tasks improve productivity, enhance customer relationships, and increase the chances of closing deals by ensuring that no important actions are overlooked.

You can access Tasks from the system by following these steps:
From the menu click on Tasks as shown.
Upon clicking, you need to click on Add Task button to create a new task.
The Add/Update Task Pop-up opens up where you can provide the necessary task information like the task title, start and end dates, user, company name, task status. You can also tag a task with an Opportunity as well as tag users that are related to this task. You can also set reminders to get timely alerts for the set task.
Once you are done setting up task details click on Save. You will see the task will get added to the task listing page.
Apart from this, you can also add task directly from the Leads section by following these steps:
From the menu click on Lead.
Next go to any lead and click on View from the the Action column.
Next go to the Task tab and click on Add New Task to create a task in a similar way for the selected lead.
You can also change the status of a task directly from the Action column by clicking on the Change Status icon as shown.
