How to Delete or Archive an Asset

Hello, and welcome to this training session.

In this video, I will show you how to delete or archive an asset from the system.

To start, click on the Assets option from the menu. Under Assets, click on Equipment. This will bring up your equipment listing page.

Next, locate the asset you want to delete. Once you’ve found it, look under the Action options for the delete icon, which is the third icon in the list. Click on Delete.

You'll be prompted to enter a Delete Reason and Remarks to explain why you're deleting this asset record from the system. These fields are mandatory. The reasons can be predefined in the system, and you can select the appropriate one from the list.

After filling out the delete reason and remarks, click on Delete Asset. The asset will be removed from the system.

And that's how you delete an asset from the system.
