The Multi-Asset PM feature streamlines maintenance by managing identical tasks across multiple assets in a single plan. It generates individual work orders for each asset while ensuring task consistency. This simplifies preventive maintenance management and reduces administrative effort.

Here is a reference video:

Step by step instruction to create a Schedule Maintenance

  • Click on Scheduled Maintenance from the blue menu on the left side

  • It will show the list of scheduled maintenance. Click on  on top

  • Type the Scheduler name and select the order type from drop down. Click on Work order

  • If it is a time scheduling then select any from How often radio button list e.g. if it is every 3 day type 3 at Every text box. If it every 6 month then select Monthly and type 6 on Every text box

  • Select the start date for the scheduled maintenance. It will calculate the end date.

  • Type the work order title, description and other details which is as same as the work order create page.

Next you can add multiple assets to the scheduler whose maintenance operations can be simplified by managing identical tasks across multiple assets in a single plan.

Further you need to add the Labor Tasks that need to be performed.

Now there might be 2 scenarios in this case:-

Case 1 - While creating a scheduler you know whom to assign and you choose the assignee.

Select assignee for the scheduler from the Assignee section. Also you can check their availability.

Once you are done setting all this information click on the Save button.

After saving, you will find that all the work orders are generated for the selected assets and the technician.

Also you will see those already assigned Work Orders on the Work Order calendar as well.

Case 2 - The created scheduler is not assigned to any technician

When you are creating a scheduler, in case if you are not sure whom to assign right away then you can leave it unassigned and Save the Scheduler after setting up rest of the scheduler details.

In that case all the Work Orders will be created for the selected multiple assets but will remain assigned till you assign them.

Also, in the Calendar View all the created work orders will be shown under the Scheduled Maintenance tab which you can drag and drop easily to assign it to a technician.
