DreamzCMMS RFID Web Portal: Asset Data and Reporting

Scanning assets in the app is only half the story — your management team still needs a place to set up the data behind it and see the results. The DreamzCMMSRFID web portal is where every store and warehouse location, product, and tagged asset is managed, and where every scan, transfer, and exit-gate event turns into a reportable, exportable record.

Overview

Everything in the app is backed by master data set up here in the portal: Facility lists every store and warehouse location your business operates, Product holds your complete product information, and Equipment is the live registry of every individual tagged asset — each with its own serial number, parent product, facility, warranty, condition, and status. The portal is also where bulk RFID tags are generated directly from a product record, and where the Antenna Monitor dashboard shows how many stores are covered, how many exit antennas are active, and which have gone offline. From there, a full suite of reports covering scans, transfers, stock checks, and asset allocation rolls activity up location by location, flags mismatches automatically, and exports cleanly to Excel, PDF, or SAP. Between the app on the floor and the portal in the office, you get a complete, tamper-proof record of every asset from the day it arrives to the day it's unregistered.

Before You Begin

  • You must have web portal access with permissions to view or manage Facility, Product, Equipment, and Reports.
  • Your store and warehouse locations should already be set up in Facility — see Setting Up Plant, Warehouse, and Location Hierarchies if you haven't done this yet.
  • If you use fixed RFID antennas at store exits, make sure they're installed and connected so they appear correctly on the Antenna Monitor dashboard.

How to Use the DreamzCMMSRFID Web Portal

Step 1 – Review Your Facility List

Everything in the app is backed by master data here in the portal. Facility lists every store and warehouse location your business operates.

Step 2 – Manage Product Information

Product holds your complete product information, forming the catalog that every registered and tagged asset is built from.

Step 3 – View the Equipment Registry

Equipment is the live registry of every individual tagged asset, each with its own serial number, parent product, facility, warranty, condition, and status.

Step 4 – Generate Bulk RFID Tags from a Product

This is also where bulk tagging originates. The Bulk Asset from Product screen lets your team generate serialized RFID tags directly from a product record. Set the facility, category, and quantity, and the batch is ready to print.

Step 5 – Monitor Exit Antennas Across Stores

Remember the exit antenna at the store? This is where your team monitors it. The Antenna Monitor dashboard shows, at a glance, how many stores are covered and how many antennas are active right now, and lets you drill into any store to view its antenna status and last recorded activity.

Note: The dashboard flags any antenna that's gone offline, so a hardware issue never goes unnoticed across your store network.

Step 6 – Audit Scans by Facility

Every action in the app feeds into a report here, so nothing happens without a paper trail. The FacilityWise Scan Report shows every scan by location, including asset counts, successful reads, and anything missing — letting you audit accuracy store by store, right down to the department, building, and room.

Step 7 – Track Transfers Between Locations

For transfers, the Location-Wise Dispatch Report and the Facility-Wise Dispatch Journey Report track every transfer end-to-end — what was scanned out, what arrived, and any mismatches automatically flagged for follow-up.

Step 8 – Review Stock Check Reports

For stock checks, the Location-Wise Inquiry Report and the Inquiry Summary Report roll up every inquiry across all locations, showing valid assets, missing assets, and any unexpected assets appearing where they shouldn't.

Step 9 – Track Asset Allocation and Accountability

The Asset Allocation Report tracks every asset assigned to a user, department, or location, including the allocation date, current status, and who allocated it. It also records who deallocated the asset, so ownership and accountability are always on record.

Step 10 – Export Your Reports

All of these reports can be exported directly to Excel or PDF, with a dedicated SAP export option available for dispatches — giving finance and operations teams a clean handoff without re-keying any data.

After Setup — What's Next?

With master data in place, antennas monitored, and reports flowing in from every scan, transfer, and allocation, your management team has a complete, tamper-proof view of every asset across every location. Once you're comfortable with the core workflow, you can:

  • Check the Antenna Monitor dashboard regularly so a hardware issue at any store never goes unnoticed.
  • Set up recurring exports of key reports to Excel, PDF, or SAP for finance and operations teams.
  • Pull the Asset Allocation Report on a schedule to keep accountability current across departments.

Tips for Management Teams

  • Keep Facility and Product master data current before a rollout — bulk tagging pulls directly from these records.
  • Treat an offline antenna on the Antenna Monitor dashboard as a same-day fix — it's the only thing standing between an unallocated asset and the exit.
  • Check the Dispatch Journey Report after any transfer to catch mismatches before they become a bigger reconciliation problem.
  • Use the SAP export option for dispatches if your finance team already reconciles inventory in SAP.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if an exit antenna has stopped working?
The Antenna Monitor dashboard shows how many antennas are active right now and flags any that have gone offline, so you can drill into that store before it becomes a security gap.

Where do I generate new RFID tags for a rollout?
Use the Bulk Asset from Product screen in the portal — set the facility, category, and quantity from an existing product record, and the batch is ready to print.

Can I see who allocated or deallocated a specific asset?

Yes. The Asset Allocation Report tracks every assignment, including the allocation date, current status, who allocated it, and who deallocated it.

Can I export reports for my finance or ERP team?

Yes. All reports export to Excel or PDF, and dispatch reports also include a dedicated SAP export option.
