The Route Planning feature enables users to efficiently create, assign, and manage job routes for drivers. From the route listing page, users can create a new route plan by selecting a driver and assigning one or more work orders.
The system automatically generates an optimized route once the start and end locations are defined. After reviewing the generated route, users can save the plan with a name and description.
Each route follows a structured lifecycle:
Draft – Route can be edited, and driver or job assignments can be modified.
In Progress – Route is active; editing and deletion are restricted.
Completed – Route is finalized and locked to maintain data integrity.
This feature ensures controlled route execution, improves operational visibility, and prevents unauthorized changes once a route is underway or completed.
