Overview
Open the Lead, choose Convert to Quotation, and DreamzFSM pre-populates customer and contact details automatically. You then add items from the Price Book, adjust quantities, discounts, taxes, and terms, attach scope files, select a branded template, and preview before saving and emailing a PDF to the prospect. The quote is tracked with a clear status (e.g., Draft, Sent, Accepted), and when approved you can convert it directly into a Sales Order or Work/Job Order — keeping inventory, scheduling, and billing in sync while preserving a complete audit trail from lead to sale.

Steps to Convert a Lead and Create a Quotation
Step 1 – Navigate to the Lead List
From the menu, click on Pipeline and then click on Lead to open the Lead List.

Step 2 – Convert the Lead to a Quotation
From the lead list, click on Convert next to the lead you wish to convert, then select the Convert to Quotation option.

Step 3 – Build the Quotation in the Estimation Screen
The Estimation Screen is your quote builder. Customer information is pre-populated from the lead. Build line items via the Price Book — entering rate, quantity, unit, tax, and notes (with AI assistance available). You can also pull services from the Service Book or Service Templates, compare multiple Options, and DreamzFSM will auto-calculate line and grand totals. Additional sections such as Custom Services, Diagnosis, and Schedule allow you to further enrich the estimate.

Step 4 – Save the Quotation
Once all line items, pricing, and details are complete, click Save. The quotation will be created and tracked with a status (e.g., Draft, Sent, Accepted). You can then preview, email the PDF to the prospect, and — when approved — convert it directly into a Sales Order or Job Order.
