Project Planning and Scheduling

DreamzCMMS offers Project Management support, enabling you to plan, schedule, set project goals, and track the overall project progress.

How to create your project plan?

• Create your project by selecting the projects option from the drop down menu named Projects

• It will  show the list of projects. Scroll down to find the new project create form

• Fill up the data like projected start date, end date, customer name

• Fill up the data under the budget information section. It includes the labor cost, material cost and other equipment rent or procurement amount. Also you can define the projected profit margin rate or amount

• Once you  create the project, start creating the jobs and tag the project. Check job create guideline.

How to schedule the jobs?

For optimal scheduling that aligns with the planned objectives, it is crucial to meticulously record the job's commencement and end dates.

How to track the project timeline and milestone?

• Click on Projects menu

• Select Gantt Chart Option. It will open up the chart window

• This will show overall projects in single window

• Click on prev and next at left top for Day wise toggling

• Click on any of the option at top right to see the jobs in day/ week/ 15 days/ Month view

• Click on Search at right and select the project to see one single project view

•  Based on the type of job, the job names can be expanded or collapsed. On the right side, it displays the daily task timeline. Different colors indicate tasks based on job type

You can see the Gantt chart view from the project dashboard also. Check the project dashboard

Note: This Gantt chart can help a project manager to

• Visualize the entire project timeline.

• Identify task dependencies and potential bottlenecks.

• Communicate the project plan and status to stakeholders.

• Adjust the schedule as needed to accommodate changes or delays.
